Medical Technology Academy

Participation the Health and Medicine Science Academy entails intense
courses in both mathematics and science with an emphasis on courses in
anatomy, physiology and science research.  Qualified students will be
selected to complete in the INTEL Science Competition.
In addition, students will interact with participating hospitals and medical
centers where they will experience various aspects of the medical field.  
Internships will be arranged for the 11th and 12th year students that will
include direct supervision of students by various hospital department
heads.
Juniors will be eligible to be awarded a one week scholarship in the
Biological Research Program at Southhampton
