Welcome to the Aviation Academy!

This course includes an introduction to aerospace
careers; principles and history of flight; procedures and
practices in piloting an aircraft; technical
drawing/aerospace design, computer-aided
drafting/design; flying instruction and experience at
Republic Airport.  Participants in this academy will have
the option of participating in one of the two programs
offered. Aerospace/Technology students will have the
opportunity to train in the flight and ground certification
program funded by VETA (Vocational and Technical
Education Act).
Students will have an opportunity to acquire solo and
private pilot certification
