Conflict Resolution Assignments
Conflict Resolution Project DUE: January 8, 2010
Teacher: Smartt
Interviews will be conducted with a School Safety Officer, a Custodian, a Paraprofessional and
another Teacher.
Introduce yourself to whomever it is that you’re interviewing first, then get their full name (first name
and last name).
Ask them the following questions:
What do you like most about August Martin High School?
What do you like least about August Martin High School?
How long have you been working at August Martin High School?
What do you think makes August Martin a good school?
Where did you go to high school?
Did you graduate? If no, why not?
Did you go to college? What subject area did you study?
What do you think needs to be done to help the students focus more on school work?
If you were principal for a day what changes would you make?
Then thank the person for their time and keep track of your notes. You will use the information
gathered to write an essay using all of the information that you’ve gathered. You will turn in your
notes along with your essay and this will be 50% of your final grade.
